- I was inspired by the beauty of stained glass and the transition of day to night. The transition often feels "electric", which relates to these electrical boxes. The illusion of the stained glass represents a window into the utility box. The submitted image is derived from from a hand painted design and colored with photoshop. The final image is intended to be fully a hand painted to-scale panels with gold outlines digitized via high resolution photographs.
