- I am married to a fabulous gardener and he loves the leopard spot plant that I often photograph. It's structure, resilience and ability to flower in the cold, wintery months in Texas and also withstand the Texas heat make it a plant worth respect. As an artist, I liked to play on those wonderful traits by exploding the color and restructuring the boundaries to make a design that is eye catching and beautiful.
