- Art is a part of everyone's life globally and holds a dominant piece of mine”. Raised in the city of New Orleans, art and a sense of culture is very hard to elude. The artist, Donavon Cyan, began a journey in his youth that would continue to date. He studied art at the school for the gifted and talented arts, NOCCA, where the proper fundamentals were taught. Whether drawing on paper, painting on canvas , or cardboard, creativity will always serve as a guide to greater expression. Graphic design and the “Computer Age” was a new avenue to pursue. Taking chances to further advance in the art world is a challenge and has helped to groom the artist he has grown to be today. Barbering is a very under rated art form and always will require the creative eye, hands, and skill of a true artist. To create and give shape, form, and dimension to what has not been seen is a blessing. The trade itself has provided an excellent outlet to develop new trends and styles for the ages. Years of working as a Master Barber Stylist has proven to be a passion for design along with the artistry entailed. It’s comforting to still be able to share this common ground with my fellow visionaries and maintain my own identity. The art work created brings any wall to life.
