- Nova Acrylic 2013 Artist: David Lowenstein The East Waco Library Mural was funded by a grant from Mid America Arts Alliance through Cultural Arts of Waco, partner NeighborWorks Waco. It was designed following a series of community input meetings and was painted with the help of over 60 community members. If you look carefully, you can find all kinds of historic and current “Waco Famous” characters here. The mural is an arts catalyst that impacted the renovation of the East Waco Library as we see it today!
