Description
1973, restored by Roth Construction, 2014 Waco's Freedom Fountain was built in 1973 to commemorate 12 Waco residents who traveled to Paris in 1971 to negotiate with North Vietnamese officials for the release of U.S. prisoners of war. The Freedom Fountain stands as a monument for Freedom for past and present war veterans. The fountain includes cast concrete panels with the phrase "FREEDOM" in 54 different languages. photo credit: Richard Duhrkopf
